Its official this year there will be a Queensland Bikers Freedom Ride. At the moment I am trying to work out dates for this ride. The ride will be $10 a head and all money raised will go to MRAQ. So once I organise the dates I hope you can all come along.

Well the end of another year last nite PASTOR JOHN done the last street feed for the year He put on a real good nite for the homeless and disadvanvaged he had a group of carrol singers he gave EVERYONE a christmas present and thay took fresh food also hot food and coffee tea hot chocklet blankets and clothes it was a huge but a great nite . RENES RYDERS are always helping out its great to be able to give a bit bace. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE BE SAFE AND KEEP IT UP RIGHT THROW THE BREAK ITS A BETTER PLACE WITH YOU IN IT.

As you can see the bar on the prize pool for a poker run has been lifted to an all-time high with the first prize of a 2006 Harley-Davidson Street Rod which has only 8000km on the clock registered and ready to ride and with over $1000 in extras valued at a conservative $17,500.
For a second year in a row the Hells Angels MC are giving away a Hunter ‘Bobba’ motorcycle 2012 model also ready to ride away this time as second place valued at $7500. With prizes and giveaways in 3rd, 4th and 5th and the regular prize of $500 given to a charity nominated by the group or club with the most amount of attendance bringing up our total prize pool value to over $25,000. Not only is the Good As Gold Poker Run the biggest and longest running in Qld but now has the title of offering the largest prize pool ever offered at a poker run in Qld! The entertainment this year will be provided by ‘THE GIANTS’, Australia's premier biker rock band that will be kicking off their first Qld tour in years from the Good As Gold event. The ‘THE GIANTS’ performance will be recorded and a DVD of them and the ride will be produced and available in 2012. Accompanying them on stage as well as taking on the task of emcee will be PAULIE FENECH of FAT PIZZA and HOUSOS fame. As in previous years everyone will be fed at all stops free of charge, and this year being the 20th Anniversary, the Hells Angels MC are offering a one off special that all women and kids get in free! So guys bring the old lady, girlfriend or someone else's missus and make this the hugest one yet. So fill your tanks, check your oil and get along to Good As Gold Poker Run 2012 because come rain, hail or shine this one’s going to be bigger than Ben Hur. Here is a copy of the Email I recieved from Cathy of the Social Club. Please, if you can, support this event. Remember it is a chance to show off our Shadows and our Organisation. Cathy can be contacted through me Steve (0419185560) or Docfeather Phone 0407161538 Lights on the Hill Convoy 2012 To All Members and non Members, We have been given a spot in the Lights on the Hill Convoy on Saturday 25th February 2012 and a site at the Gatton Showground for the Social Club stall. We have also been asked for Helpers from the Organizers and for our own stall as well. If you are interested in joining us for the ride or Volunteering to help can you contact us by phone or email please. We will be doing the usual things for all club members on the day who come to join in on the Fun. Once all the details are in, we send out an email with all the details for the ride and events for the day’s events and activities. The Trucks will be leave BP Rocklea at 10.00am but the bikes will be leaving before them at around Social Club members and other bike riders , meet a 8.00 – 8.30 leave at 9.30am. This is a great little Biker friendly pub, good meals and caters to all groups regardless of size. It`s not far from the Glamorganvale Pub which is now closed and is an easy ride from Brisbane.

In the last few day i've had a heaps of requesst from people on facebook asking me to "Bring Back Real bikers"
Started me thinking what is a real biker? is it some one who lives to ride? I think we ride for the comradery that comes form risking life and limbs in the company of like minded people. The brotherhood is hard to explain but once you experience it you get addicted to it and few things that can measure up to it the basic principle for me is once a mate alway a mate "do me right i'll do you better, do me wrong i'll do you worse" any other thoughs ..

Be careful of Rhino Leather, they supply wrong sizes of jackets and vest then expect you to pay postage for their dodgy goods.
The only way they admit their goods are faulty is if you threaten to go to see them in Sydney. Ruined Christmas presents for the Mrs then have the audacity they have reported my complaint to the authorities. Its a pity they didn't think of their customers by admitting their sizes are wrong and that they were only thinking of their cash flow and not their customers. Hope they do take legal action I still have the dodgy vest make a point of showing very body I ride with. If you don't want to be disappointed don't purchase from Rhino Leather. Rhino Leather threatened legal action, here's hoping they carry out their threat so the whole thing can be made public through the media, I'm waiting. Every Internet "Rip Off" & "Scammers" should be named, shamed, and kicked of the net. And yes I have reported to and will be reported to every agency that deals with net sales, fair trade, and anyone else I find that may be able to stop your dodgy sales. |
